Dr. Andrew Ambrose earned two degrees at St. Andrew’s College in North Carolina: a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Chemistry. Following St. Andrew’s, Dr. Ambrose earned his Doctorate of Optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Ambrose received Clinical Honors in his pediatrics rotation and interned at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Columbia, SC. He also worked with a team of optometrists for the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Indians spring training teams. Dr. Ambrose is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and serves as a Clinical Examiner on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Apart from his professional life, Dr. Ambrose enjoys participating in outdoor sports -- triathalons, adventure races, marathons, mud runs, and polar plunges to name a few.
