Dr. Lynne Schleede completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Vermont, her home state. She went on to complete her professional education and received her Doctorate of Optometry, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1996. Her professional training includes internships at the VA Medical Center in Sacramento, California and at the Travis Air Force Base Medical Center in Fairfield, California. After practicing in Colorado for several years, she relocated to the Virginia Beach area in 2002 where she began practicing with National Optometry. Having lived in Vermont, California, and Colorado, Dr. Schleede enjoys skiing. She has also recently started participating in half marathons.
